I am beyond proud to share the new digital home for mōdASH Styling. A true labor of love—a merriment of high-end strategy and a whimsical, pop-art soul. It’s playful, it’s vibrant, and it is finally a true reflection of the energy I bring to this work. 🎨

As I move into my third year of business, I’ve been reflecting on the trajectory of this business, my unique opportunity to help people and why it matters deeply to me. My dad was a jeweler, spending his life crafting custom made jewelry, namely wedding rings—circles that represented infinity, grace, and a high standard of beauty. I’ve always been obsessed with the shape and the significance of a circle. You’ll see them woven throughout the site as a nod to him, but also as a symbol of the “limitless” version of ourselves we are all capable of becoming.

I am still in awe of the growth of this business in the last two years. To my existing clients: thank you for continually entrusting me to shepherd you into the next era of yourselves. 🥂

It’s a candid phrase I use when we test a look that doesn’t fully execute. But honestly, it never hurts to try! Fashion is supposed to be FUN 🤩—that joy is key to the process.
I channel the spirit of the late great Diane Keaton: she achieved the perfect blend of whimsical and serious, creative and polished. For me, I emulate that authority by layering accessories I’ve collected on my travels—pieces with story and dimension.
Yes, the easy tee, denim, and a tailored blazer is my functional default. It’s easy, and it looks good. But for my clients (and for me, for that matter), we’re not aiming for good. We’re aiming higher.

A recent graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Public Relations, Audrey is now in NYC pursuing her dreams as an aspiring stylist in the fashion industry.
Her goals were powerful and shared traits with my core values: to help people become more comfortable and confident in who they are, and who they want to become.

FWIW - Someone took a chance on a much younger me back way back when and look where I am today. Hiiiiii👋🏻 It’s been a minute and there’s been a flood of new people here, so first off- thank you for supporting modASH Styling!!! We’re so happy you’re here. I personally always relate to and want to hear the story behind someone’s story, so I thought it might be worth me sharing a few tidbits about myself ✨
* I spent over a decade in enterprise software sales, and for years, I hid the girl who grew up in the Midwest. I worked hard to drop my accent and fit into the California tech world, never imagining I’d find my way to a career in fashion, but longed for something more creative for years.
* My journey certainly wasn’t a linear line. I navigated workplace harassment, then a layoff, and those difficult moments became the catalyst for a total pivot out of tech.
* I nearly moved to NYC to start over in the same career, but fate had other plans. I was selling my furniture and everything, when I met the love of my life, got laid off again, and decided to bet on myself.
* Now, I’m going on Year 2 as a business owner, I style for @refind, I have a fiancé, and I’m a proud stepmom to two amazing teenagers and two doggos.
* Style has always been a passion of mine, but it’s also been a spiritual and emotional journey. I love working with clients who are on their own self-healing paths—I believe style can be a powerful tool for that transformation.
* After celebrating over a decade of sobriety and embracing mindfulness through yoga and meditation, I’ve come to see how deeply our inner and outer worlds are connected.
* I’m about to send my stepdaughter to college halfway across the country, and yes, I’m terrified! Learning how to show up for her has made me come truly full circle with my stepmom and that’s been such a blessing, despite losing my dad in 2011.
* I wouldn’t trade this beautifully messy life for anything. It’s a life I built on my own terms, with courage and a whole lot of love + support from my soon-to-be hubby 🩷

It’s all in the details ✨

Finding your personal style takes time and often involves trying things that may not feel like “you.” I’ve been there, and those experiences have shaped my approach as a stylist. My aim is to help you discover (or find/rediscover) how to express your authentic self through style.

I often describe my own style as leaning towards the unique, maybe even a little “weird,” demonstrated in this look. What’s become clear is that the feeling your clothes evoke within you is far more significant than any trend or compliment.

Call in the colors/shapes/patterns that feel like you. It’s a lot like dancing… do you FEEL the music or do you just hear it in the background? I want to express myself clearly in how I move through the world.

How would you describe the feeling of your style when it truly aligns with who you are?

December Dump 🎄

It’s been a busy month for us, both professionally and personally.

I got to spend some QT with my lifelong bestie in Manhattan and get some good hair time in with my girl @whitneywarfieldhair. I can’t think of a better place to be than with my best friend when I got the news of my 94 year old grandmother’s passing.

I was given the privilege of attending and participating in amazing events, namely the @theestylecollective’s Glitz & Glam Event and the @sam_supporters Annual Holiday Luncheon. I was featured in @425magazine in the most beautiful spread and had so much fun playing with @andrewhoge and @studiobportraits at that photoshoot. What a trip it’s been! 😍

I am constantly reminded how beautiful this playground we call Earth is. The pulse of New York City reminds me how alive I truly am. I am called to feel things deeply and heal so that I can help others heal. I am in awe of the changing of the seasons, experiencing the holidays through these eyes today and getting to witness and appreciate the changes that happen from one year to the next both in my family of origin and my new-to-me nuclear family. ❤️🙏🏼

So grateful for this work I get to do on myself and with my clients that affords me a rich life of service, travel and joy.

Today is an exciting day for modASH Styling! @annabelwickham will be joining the team as our resident Personal Styling Content and Community Intern! We met Annabel and her family at the ##carolinaherrera fashion show and our alignment felt kismet ✨

Annabel was born in London and moved to Seattle during middle school. Currently, she is an Honors Carolina student at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she is double majoring in Business and Advertising & PR. She has always been interested in the business side of fashion, and through a volunteering opportunity in high school, was able to witness how fashion has the ability to instill confidence in a person. She was immediately interested in interning at ModASH Styling because the core values of this business strongly align with her own personal views. Additionally, as a business major, she feels inspired by female entrepreneurs, and felt this internship was the perfect opportunity to learn from a talented mentor and dip her toes into the fashion industry.

This client reminded me in my core of My WHY 💕

In March, a dear friend of mine unexpectedly passed and then my mom suffered a stroke four days later. My world was upside down when I received a Form Submission from Anastasia.

Following our initial consultation, she signed up for my standard offering to up level her work wardrobe and as I began navigating the process with her, I realized quickly that I was beyond lucky to have signed her as a client, and timing is never off. She open-mindedly let me choose looks that weren’t typically what she’d reach for, and trusted my judgment from the moment she signed on the dotted line. I had the creative agency to shoot for what I really envisioned for her capsule wardrobe, which is the ideal attitude when hiring a stylist to shake things up!

So in the midst of caring for my mom and grieving a friend, I had the gift of elevating her style and the WHY couldn’t have been more apparent to me. It’s always been getting out of ME and helping YOU find YOU! 💋

🏆 Client Spotlight: In three short days, we created a capsule wardrobe that includes 50+ unique looks. We’ve elevated her look but it still feels like her, which is always my main priority.

🎉 The best response I get during these edit sessions is: “I never would’ve thought of that outfit and I love it!” I literally hear it everyday I’m with a client and it warms my heart.

😍 While this is what I would consider a dream client, it doesn’t always start this way. Sometimes, a first step to engage with me is needing help with a look for an event like a wedding or a holiday party.
